Extra Help Book Head First HTML with CSS & XHTML, Elisabeth Freeman & Erica Freeman Lists Basic Help HTML Lists Constructing HTML lists Constructing an HTML list requires two elements that, when used together, form a list. One element determines what kind of list you are creating while the other one marks up each list item. To create a list you put each item in an < li > element. Let's make a list of all the different type of ice cream flavors. < li > Chocolate < / li > < li > Vanilla < / li > < li > Mint Chocolate Chip < / li > Each of these < li > elements will become an item in the list Now it is important to distinguish between an unordered list ( ul ) and an ordered list ( ol ) Enclose your list items with one of the two elements. If you would like the list to be numbered, use an ordered list. If you would like bullets, use an unordered list. < ol > < li > Chocolate < / li > < li > Vanilla < / li >

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
