Current insurance trends: Life insurance has been on decline in the U.S. for a long time; many people believe that it is too expensive based on its long term nature or too much of a hassle to get (often a physical is required). Briefly, what are your thoughts on whether life insurance will/should be used as a financial risk management product by the millennial generation? Case in Point: 1. I would suggest that Jeff and Ann get Term Life insurance for at least 20 years. This will cover them until their kids become independent and it is more affordable for this young family than a Whole Life policy would be. 2. In my opinion, Jeff and Ann do need additional insurance. If Jeff were to die, this would cause a financial hardship on his family. Their family’s expenses would be at least $250
