Research on Company Bond: Choose a company to research , such as Verizon, Google, Apple, Caterpillar, or whatever company you are interested in. Go to - markets.morningstar.com/BondCenter/ . Click “Search”, choose “Corporate” and then input the company name in the “Issuer Name” box, and click search. If there are no bonds issued by your company, choose another company that has bonds. If there are numerous issues of bonds for your company, choose one to analyze (multiple bonds means the company raised money at multiple times through different bond issues). a. What company did you choose? b. What is the maturity of the bond? What does that mean? c. What is the rating of the bond? What does that mean? d. What is the coupon rate of the bond?
