Upon submitting my request to a committee, I know that before my proposal is even read, the overseers have in mind what they are looking for. Immediately I would expect questions to come from the group regarding how it will shape the overall company/building. This is a very particular situation that is going to take a lot of rapport and trust to be established between myself and the group. To manage this goal, I prefer to make strong use of professional writing, using as many facts, be it with numbers or other company based information such as traffic, as possible. Alongside the professional aspect, you have to keep a light heart about what is being said, as to assure the audience you aren’t just trying to get the best of them, for personal gain alone. You might do this by simply using conjunctions to maintain a free-flowing tone, or maybe make a quick pun underlying your purpose, subtly. Informative
