I have many long term goals in mind. What I try to do is take one day at a time because I have tried to make goals before and then something happens and the goals change. The first long term goal I have in mind is becoming an RN. The second long term goal I have is to lose more weight. The short term goals to becoming an RN: Finish each 9 week class at UOP (accomplish every nine weeks) Start doing some research (accomplish in a year) Finish with my associated degree with UOP (accomplish in two years) One of two things happen here: One-continue with UOP to my masters and become an RN; Two- get on with a local medical facility that does tuition reimbursement and doing my RN schooling with them (accomplish in two years) The short term goals to losing weight: Start with daily workouts( start now) Continue to eat healthier( have already started due to diabetes) Walk( start now) Stop smoking!( start in a week) Loose up to 100 pounds (by July of next year,2009)
