1. Caiaphas = high priest who delivered Jesus to Pilate, the Roman who governed Jerusalem at the time. The charge that the high priest brought against Jesus was that he claimed to be King of the Jews, a charge that caught the attention of Pilate. 2. Kerygama = the message or proclamation of the early Christians. Peter gave a proclamation on the day of Pentecost. 3. St. Benedict of Nursia = the most famous order was developed by him and instituted in Monte Carlo, Italy. Benedict’s model was a garrison of Christ’s soldiers.
