I think the growing of technology in school is great. Everyday a child uses technology, and bringing it into the classroom is great. I feel that it really helps the child learn. “The integration of computers into schools and the growing emergence of computer-based instruction have a significant impact in enhancing what and how students learn, as well as how teachers teach math, science and technology” (2001). I remember when we first got computers in middle school, and everyone in my class was so excited. We had computer class two times a week and we worked on typing skills as well as played games such as school house rocks. Those games were fun and a competition with the other students which made it learning without even realizing we were learning. Also, a big thing at WVU is ecampus, or WebCT, which students use almost every day. I feel that it is easier to take a quiz, or write a journal entry on ecampus then actually going to class and doing it. It gives you the freedom to be able to do it on your own time. Also it gives

I think ecampus has really helped teachers with grading and keeping everything organized. The biggest thing is the internet; it gives people access to everything in a matter of seconds. The internet is one of the best inventions in the past years. A person can find almost anything from buying clothes, to imported food, as well as books for your classes all within five minutes. Although some sites are unreliable, there are more good sources then bad. The internet is surely a gift to all people, especially students who use it for almost everything. Technology will do nothing but help teachers expand children’s minds and eagerness to learn. It is a great thing that they have access to all the resources out there. It is amazing how far we have come in the last 15 years with technology, and we will only gain more technology in the future....
