Jamie Mortakis MDS 199 September 21, 2009 I chose multiple disciplinary studies as my major because I honestly could not decide what I wanted to do. I have had multiple majors while attending West Virginia University including computer engineering, psychology, elementary education, and a few others. I really could not get into any of those majors though. I chose multiple disciplinary studies because it could help me focus on three to four things I had interest in. I chose Advertising, Business Administration, and Communications. My cousin is in advertising and he really enjoys it, and my other cousin graduated from West Virginia University with a degree and she is now an advertiser for Anheuser-Busch. She gets to travel all over and really enjoys what she does. I also chose Business Administration because I would really like to open my own business one day. My cousin and I both have a few ideas we have threw around. I also chose Communications because I like to talk. I speak well. I also think it compliments my other two minors well. With multiple
