BUS207 UNIT 2 PAPER 2 Rights and Obligations Based on chapter 10 of Ethics in the Workplace by Keith Goree, I think that Moira is in a “squishy” situation. By squishy I mean she is stuck between a rock and a hard spot. She has heard and seen plenty of wrongful things going on around her at her job and she has only “tried to talk” to her manager. I believe that Moira’s situation could easily be settled. I mean if the department manager sees what is going on, as well as getting complaints and still does nothing, you can guarantee that I would be going to the main supervisor and have something done about it. The main situation is that Moira is afraid she is going to lose her job. I think that if she tells the supervisor the truth about what is going on then she won’t lose her job. She would be showing the managers and employees that she is there to do her job and she isn’t there to make friends. She would be telling them that it is not okay to do drugs on the job and it is not okay to steal equipment, leave work
