The article “Banksy: Locations and Tours” displayed by the PM Press informs the reader about the historical background of Banksy. He is said to currently reside in London. Before choosing to become a graffiti artist he was training to become a butcher. He is the descendant of a photocopy technician. He is also expected to be born in 1974. Tours are conducted annually and display over one hundred of Banksy and his followers work. One reviewer of the tour even stated that Banksy’s images are “Witty and thought provoking, his images excite and infuriate in equal measure.” The author makes it a point to show that while people have attempted to gain knowledge concerning Banksy, many are still unsure whether he is a single person or a group who contribute to local images spray painted throughout the city of London. He provides as much information that he can but states that the tour also “includes graffiti by many of Banksy’s peers” because no one can prove what art what in fact created by the mastermind himself.
