Camille Paxton 23 April 2010 Finding Nemo Diagnosis Finding Nemo, directed in 2003 by Andrew Stanton is a movie about a young clown fish named Nemo and his father. Nemo and his father got in an argument so Nemo swam into the ocean and was captured by a dentist from Sydney who was on a fishing trip. Once captured Nemo was placed in the Dentists tank for his niece Darla and his father, along with a helpful fish named Dori, set off on the mission to get him back. Although it is not directly stated, Dori suffers from an Amnestic Disorder, or Amnesia. Throughout the film, Dori’s behaviors meet all of the diagnostic criteria associated with an Amnestic Disorder.
