Ashay Mehta America is home to at least one hundred different kinds of cultures. Ever since the early 1900s, America has invited into her arms all different kinds of ethnicities. This melting pot that was brewed in the past has greatly effected the present. As a result, America’s schools and colleges are some of the most diverse schools in the world. Everyday students are exposed to a learning experience that isn’t offered in most other schools around the globe. That learning experience is the knowledge of other cultures and races through daily interaction. People don’t realize how much they can learn about someone else’s culture by just talking to them. Society’s education system today is based upon diversity. Diversity in our schools encourages an entire generation to become one. By churning separate races and ethnicities into one public building, America has made a new population of more intelligent people wanting to make a difference in the world.
