ArgusLab was used to create each ion as well as find the heat of formations for each in the Ortho-, Meta- and Para- forms. For toluene, the Para- form was considered the most stable because it was the quickest to be formed. It has a heat of formation of 190.7776 kcal/mol which makes it the lowest heat of formation of the three forms. The ortho-toluene and para-toluene configurations are the most stable for a few reasons. One reason is that they both have more resonance
