Three Day Diet Analysis o How does your diet compare to the recommendations you received from the Food Guide Pyramid? How many servings from each food group did you consume? Under the food guide pyramid I was under on all but one, my milk intake is 0 as compared to their recommend of 3 cups. My meat and beans intake was 5.7 oz, compared to the recommend of 7oz. My vegetables intake is .3 cup, compared to recommend of 3.5 cup. My fruits intake is 4.4 cup, as compared to recommend of 2.5 cups. My grains intake is 3.7 oz, compared to recommend of 10oz. o How might you modify your diet to get the recommended servings for each food group? What are some nutrient-rich foods that you could add to your daily diet? I could incorporate more vegetables into my diet, as well as grains. As far as milk goes, I do not use many dairy products, as I am lactose intolerant. I sometimes do a steamed vegetable medley of carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower, which I should do more regularly. o
