( 10 pts: roughly divided 1 for the goal and 3 each for addressing each of the three parts of the experiment. ) Part 1 -we made 5 different standard solutions of ferroinfrom a stock solution using the equation M1V1=M2V2 to make the standard solution that was 1.25e-5 M we used 0.2mL of the stock solution and diluted it to 100mL. For the 2.5e-5M solution we used 0.4mL of the stock solution and dilited it to 100mL. For the 3.75e-5M solution we used 0.6mL of the stock solution and diluted it to 100mL. For teh 5e-5M solution we used 0.8mL of the stock solution and dilluted it to 100mL. Finally for the 6.35e-5M solution we used 1.0mL of the stock solution and diluted it to 100mL. Part 2- we made a ferroin complex from iron tablet powder, hydroxylamine and phenanthroine. To do this we heated a mixtiure of iron tablet powder and HCl until it boiled. We then filtered the solution to get all of our iron into a flask. Thjen we took 1mL of this solution and added hydroxylamine to ensure that the iron turned into Fe3+ so that the iron would react with our phenanthroline. We then added the phenanthroline and added 100mL of water to our solution and put our solution in a cuvette so that we could measure its absorbance. Part 3-
