Mary’s Battle 2 Mary seems to have many things that can help her when she is trying to adapt to her mental illness. I have found that the four factors that seem to be involved in Mary‘s case include: spiritual needs, social support, medical support, and living will or legal needs. Mary attends church regularly and seems to be highly spiritual. Her church family, that always checks up on her and communicates with her, offers her as much help as she needs throughout the process. Mary’s boss is also very helpful and understand knowing that she needs the time off that she may request. Her boss and church family both offer excellent social support. The social support from the church seems to come from her spiritual and physical needs. These two factors are very positive contributors to the situation mentioned. These factors also lead to the medical support that she receives. Mary has wonderful medical support from her most recent job as a medical
