Jennifer Higgins Checkpoint : Information System Business Problem Dimensions - What are the three dimensions to business problems? Provide examples of each . The three dimensions are organizational, technology, and people. The three dimensions include many formed problems for a business. A problem that can occur in an organizational dimension can include; out of date business processes, unsupportive culture and attitudes, inadequate resources, and complexity of task. An example of an organizational dimension would include the Crocs Shoe Company. The company went out of business in result of an unsupportive cultural shift. The Croc shoes where a popular trend and led the business to expand. They did not predict the cultural shift of their shoes being a passing “fad,” resulting in an inadequate resource. The technology dimensions include; insufficient or aging hardware, outdated software, incompatability of old systems with new technology, and rapid technological change. An example of the technological dimension is the FAA (Federal Aviation Association). The FAA is
