The cause of this spread is because of sites like MySpace, Facebook, SecondLife, World of Warcraft, and the most recently popular Twitter. People use the internet for many reasons, checking a bank account balance, watching a TV show that was missed, or reconnect with relatives or classmates that haven’t been interacted with for many years. These sites are able to do these many wonderful services by using methods that can also be used to cause harm. These services can be used for the benefit of pedophiles, identity theft criminals, terrorists, and stalkers. This issue of specific technology having use for both good and evil can be called
