How does your diet compare to the recommendations you received from the Food Guide Pyramid? How many servings from each food group did you consume? My diet follows very closely to what the Food Guide Pyramid recommends for me. I always get my fruit and vegetable intake, however sometimes I don’t get enough whole grains and protein. I have recently tried to follow the biggest loser diet. With this plan, I am usually always able to intake all the servings needed from each food group between three meals and two snacks a day. I do have an issue with my dairy intake due to lactose intolerance, so I try to substitute but take vitamins as well. How might you modify your diet to get the recommended servings for each food group? What are some nutrient-rich foods that you could add to your daily diet? I don’t really feel like I need to modify my diet at this point. I feel as though I have been following a very healthy plan over the past three months and have lost weight bringing me to what my doctor considers a healthy weight for my height.
