Metrics The maze is essentially a habitat with various contraptions that allows the hedgehog to live comfortably and exercise its senses. The most important part is that the maze gives the hedgehog enough room to roam freely. The tunnels have to be large enough so that the hedgehog is not stuck, especially with its spines lodged in the tunnel’s materials. Hedgehogs are supposed to 15 to 30 centimeters long and 1.5 to 2 kilograms. They are amongst larger rodents and thus the tunnels will have to be at least 20
