Which one is the C-terminal, and which is the N-terminal amino acid? 2. What is the definition of isoelectric point? If glycine has an isoelectric point of 5.97, does it have a net negative or net positive charge at pH=7.0 ? 'electric neutral' i.e. same amounts of cation and anion. More negative carboxylate anion at pH 7.0. 3. Nearly all natural amino acids are called L-amino acids. Draw a Fischer projection of phenylalanine, showing the absolute configuration.
