The cell theory began with Robert Brown, Matthais Schleiden and Theodor Schwann using the scientific method of observation. Brown described the nucleus of a cell, Schwann declared animals are composed of cells and Schleiden declared plants are composed to cells. They concluded that all organisms are composed of cells, cells are the basic unit of structure and function in organism, and cells come only from preexisting cells because cells are self producing The principal genres of the Renaissance reflect a more humanist attitude toward the sounds and expressive possibilities of music.
