Professional Development Plan 2 In all things we do in life we must be organized and plan things accordingly. I have a lot of goals for the next five years of my career. I want to finish school and continue on to be an ese teacher at the local school. There are going to be a lot of struggles a lot the way. School is not easy, but neither is being a good teacher. I want to make the difference in the life of a child. In the next five years I would like to have accomplished having my bachelor’s degree in Elementary education. I want to be working with special needs children. All children are special and need someone to give them that extra special attention. I want to be that teacher. There will be many obstacles along the way that I will face on a daily basis. What if I have a child that is not responding, what if I have a parent that is not involved? I think that we as teachers need to not give up easily on the child or the parent. We need to remember that the parent may not be helping the child for many reasons.
