Parenthetical Citations You will be writing a paper on To Kill A Mockingbird at the end of the novel about one of the themes or messages from the novel. In preparation for this, demonstrate the correct MLA parenthetical citation format by writing 6 different examples you might use in this paper. Notice where the parentheses and punctuation are placed. #1 Find three quotes from your theme, allusion, or quote log for To Kill A Mockingbird and write them in the manner the examples are completed below. Notice that example 1 starts with a lead-in before the quote and only has a number at the end. Create your lead-in for your quote.
