STRATEGIES FOR BALANCING WORK AND LIFE 1) OFFERING CHILD CARE AT WORK- THIS WILL TAKE THE STRESS OFF OF WORRYING ABOUT WHO IS GOING TO DROP THE KIDS OFF AND WHO IS GOING TO PICK THEM UP AND NOT WORRYING ABOUT BEING OFF WORK IN TIME TO PICK THEM UP. 2) OFFERING AT LEAST 10-15 PERSONAL DAYS A YEAR. THIS CAN BE USED FOR VACATION DAYS, SICK DAYS, IF A FAMILY MEMBER IS SICK OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU MAY NEED TO BE OFF DURING THE YEAR. 3) OFFERING HEALTH CARE IS A GOOD WAY TO KEEP HEALTHY, STRAIGHT MINDED EMPLOYEES. EVEN IF YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE STRESSED, HAVE MEDICAL PROBLEMS, OR FAMILY MEDICAL PROBLEMS, HAVING HEALTH CARE CAN

YOU CAN THEN LEAVE WORK AND MAKE UP THE LOST HOURS ON A DIFFERENT DAY. 5) HAVE A CONSELOR ON DUTY MAYBE ONCE A WEEK OR EVERY OTHER WEEK, SO IF EMPLOYEES HAVE PROBLEMS THEY CAN SPEAK TO SOMEONE AND THEN IF THEY NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE MAYBE OFFER A PROGRAM THAT HELPS THEM PAY FOR IT, AS MONEY IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST STRESSES THESE DAYS....
