Kari Eckblad September 29,2009 MKT-351 Homework #2 Americans that have used a laptop and use wireless Internet is 39%. The  amount of Americans that go on online and use their PDA’s for internet, checking  emails and instant messaging on cell phones is 32%. Only a small section of  people use e-books, a minute amount of 2%. The amount of people that send or receive text messages is 65% along with  text messaging 66% take a picture and only 17% of cell phone or PDA owners  use then to get a map or directions to another location. There is a definite correlation with the ages of the cell phone or PDA owner with  the amount of text messaging, playing games etc.  There is a much  larger change in percentage that the younger ages are going to be text  messaging contently rather than taking pictures. They tend to text message alt  more than calling anymore. It’s a quick response and a less personal message.
