This article talk about 50 largest public companies in state of Indiana, white men hold 88% of the seats. Some experts say it is hard for them to attain diversity, many companies are not actively trying to recruit women and minorities to their boards, they also said minority candidates with corporate leadership experience are hard to find. Amy Hillman, chairwoman of the management department at Arizona State University said more diverse leadership tends to be associated with more profitable companies. One statistically analysis shown that companies with more female board members tend to outperform those with few or no female executives. An example is New York based PepsiCo; diversity has helped them to develop new products and promote existing ones, and the company created black and Hispanic advisory boards nearly a decade ago. But
