Define the following terms and identify their role in finance: a. Finance- the science or study of the management of funds; that includes the circulation of money, the granting of credit, the making of investments, and provision of banking facilities. b. Efficient Market- a market, in which the values of all assets and securities at any given time fully reflect all available public information, thus reflecting all the information about a company that is received and expressed to the market, thus reflecting investors feeling about the company. c. Primary Market- a market where new unissued securities are traded. This is where companies sell shares that have just been issued for sale. d. Secondary Market- the market where previously issued stock is bought and sold. This is where stock is bought and sold after the initial buying of stock from a company. e. Risk- the chance that an investment or venture will lose value or posse a hazard to the company. f. Security- a document or form such as a stock certificate or bond, that provides evidence
