CAPA homework assignments There will be two CAPA homework assignments every week. Assignments are due before Monday/Tuesday midnight firm! You will log into the CAPA computer system and enter your individual answer to your individual assignment. CAPA uses your garnet account. The first problem set is available, will be discussed Wednesday in the recitations !

Class Meetings: Labs 5 different sections TWR, UPL112 depending on what you are registered for ! ± Hands-on experience with equipment ± Analyzing scientific data: graphing and spreadsheet techniques Lab-manual available from within CAPA Print out a copy of the manual and read it before coming to each lab! Pre-lab exercises for 20% of your lab-score First lab: Week of May 25-27 The lab is a required component of the course!

Bonus Points Up to 5% of the final score will be earned through class participation: ± Typically five questions will be given to the whole class during each lecture and you will answer the questions using clickers. ± You will get one point per question for simply answering, and a second point if your answer is correct. ± The maximum number of second points is 3.
