Censor carries out Dreamwork. The censor engages in a mental process named Dreamwork. Transforms the latent content into dream symbols. Dreams are not a perfect representation but a symbolic representation. Wishes are memories of childhood experiences of pleasure. We want to return to things that gratified us in our childhood. The dream is a wish fulfillment in fantasy form. Our wishes are primitive memories of satisfaction and pleasure. Displacement, Condensation, Manipulation of Affect states. 5. Dream symbols are universal, representation are subjective. Some symbols are universals. Dream have to do with our own individual background....
