It was really interesting to hear that the people that are the most hungry in the world are the ones that produce the food. My father used to be a farmer in Guatemala so I understand how difficult it is to maintain a land in itself. I can only imagine how much more difficult it would be if instead of famine every 120 years you have a famine every 4 years. Capitalism with its market has been a blessing and a nightmare for many people in the globe today and in the past. As mentioned in lecture, India has suffered a great deal with the influence of Europe and their gift of the market. There is something seriously wrong with the picture of people committing suicides because they have a debt of $320
