WAC 100B Art as Moral Action: The Gift Economy Spring 2010 Prof. Peter Sellars; Teaching Associate Ana Paula Höfling Discussion Section 1B: Friday 12-1 pm Office hours: TBA anapaulaho@ucla.edu This discussion section will seek to expand on themes presented in lectures and in the readings, with an emphasis on the personal significance of the material to everyone’s lives. In section, we will engage directly with issues covered in lecture and in the readings, so regular attendance to lecture will be absolutely crucial, as will be completing the assigned readings on time. Course requirements: In WAC 100B, students start the quarter with an A (100 points). However, there are minimum requirements you must fulfill to end the quarter with your A. Attendance: The TA will take attendance during both lecture and discussion section. (Please come check in with me at the beginning of lecture on Monday nights, between 6 and 6:30pm). Students will get one “free” absence from lecture and one from section. Participation:
