Unformatted text preview: In your opinion, is it difficult to accurately measure prejudice? Why or why not? I absolutely agree that it is difficult to measure prejudice. I think that this test was a great way to try, though. I’m sure one can learn a lot from several of these tests being compared to each other. However, people can hide their feelings from even themselves and I don’t think pushing a couple of buttons can surface those feelings. Describe other measurements sociologists utilize to calculate prejudice. The only measurement that I have ever seen used by sociologists is comparing incomes of different races and comparing educational status of said races. Chapter three lists a bar graph showing the differences in income. I think most people think that this graph represents how black men are discriminated against and given less income because of this. However, I see that white women are more discriminated than black men. I think these measurements all come down to your interpretation of them....
