Unformatted text preview: Fayetteville State University Book Rental System Reporting For Internal Use Only Fayetteville State University 8/11/2008 Page | 2 Fayetteville State University Book Rental System Reporting Beginning with the Fall 2008 semester, Fayetteville State University will be implementing a Textbook Rental Program. The purpose of the program is to help make textbooks more affordable, and therefore more accessible, to all of our students. Participation in this program is mandatory for all undergraduate students. Graduate students may choose not to participate. The Book Rental System that you will be working with was developed in support of the textbook rental program. It allows you to check textbooks in and out of the bookstore and define new books to be added to the term book inventory. Most of the book definitions and additions will be completed for you before the beginning of each semester, but should the need arise, you do have the capability. This manual offers a step-by-step overview of how to perform all of these functions. You may use the manual as a guide until you are comfortable using the Book Rental program. To begin using the Book Rental System, you must first log on to the Fayetteville State University computer network.
