Exam format 5 sections with 3 questions each 2 sections of essay questions (35% each) 3 sections of short answer questions (10% each) You have to pick 1 question from each section to answer. Exam covers material from the whole year, but is slightly weighted to cover more material from the second half of semester.

More questions on essay-based exams: How long should the answers be? How do I answer an essay-based exam question? Do I have to reference my essay questions? No set length… (ca. 15- 20mins. per answer for essay questions; ~5 min. per short answer question) A descriptive component + a critical component (see list) – needs to be in a narrative format, but not following the stringent regulations of “essays proper” Do not be concerned about grammar/spelling as such…but try to ensure a legible text.
