Project 2 Assignment: Review Project 2-fin.pdf (50.059 Kb) Project 2: A review of a museum exhibit, book, website or film showing an important aspect/concept of epidemiology (individual project) (50 total points). Student deliverables: • A list of three to five potential subjects. Due 6:00 AM. Mon. Mar. 1 submitted via the class ELMS site (0-10 participation points, 0 = nothing submitted, 5 weak submission, 8 good submission, 10 exceptional submission, needs go beyond the ordinary) • A 250-500 word review article of the subject suitable for an introductory university level epidemiology class that be published to a web site such as Wikipedia. Due 6:00 AM. Mon. Apr. 5, submit via the class ELMS site (0-40 points). In the review describe: o The item type, o Where is it found and how individuals can access it, o The concepts that its illustrates, o Its reader/consumer friendliness, o Its value for learning and/or understanding the concept(s), o A recommendation (up or down) as to its value. You will be evaluated on the quality of the writing (spelling, grammar, transitions, etc), the nature of the item (obvious mundane items will receive less points then unusual or unique items), and how well you support your recommendation.
