Ipads in the classroom The article I picked to discuss is the launch of the Apple’s new ipad, and how it could become the new technology inside our classrooms from high school up to college. The teachers think that the new ipad would be good for the students because it will take the place of the projectors in the classroom. (thejournal.com) Many people would argue that this is not a good idea because ipads are too expensive to be put in every classroom, and they also would be expensive to replace if any are damaged. Other teachers would argue that not only can the students explore the internet. The ipad can replace some textbooks, and just make the teachers overall job easier. Some of the positive arguments about the ipad are that it could replace a lot of things in the classroom, and also make technology more accessible to the students in the classroom. The price range of the ipad is $499-$829. So in many ways the ipad is more affordable than a standard laptop or computer.
