I A business process describes a set of activities that are necessary to complete a response to a stimulus applied to an organization 6 / 58 Business Process - A Response I Identify the stimuli, activities and response in the course delivery example above. I The response is the action(s) that the organization takes as a result of the stimulus I ship product to customer I update inventory based on shipment I All of the activities required to recognize the stimulus and develop and implement the final response is the (set of) business process(es). 7 / 58 Business Process 8 / 58 Examples of Business Processes I Identify business processes as Routine or non-Routine?
