Hobbs, April (A) Religion 1001 Catholicism Film Honerkamp Logan Edwards The Long Search with Ronald Eyre Catholicism This documentary begins in the city of Rome and explores the religion of Catholicism. Catholicism has billions of practitioners. Ronald Eyre visits a group of Catholics in Leeds. He speaks with several people who talk about their own specific views of Catholicism. One of which includes a priest who discusses Christian theology. Eyre attended Mass. He described as a type of “theatre” experience.” The term Pope means “Father.” The Pope is the Bishop of Rome and the successor of St. Peter. The Pope’s home is at the Vatican in Rome. During the Mass, the Pope arrived like a King, but soon after he bowed like a servant at the altar. Ronald Eyre interviewed a lady by the name of Judith. She understood what it was like to be both out and in and she respected the structure of the Church. She believed that the idea of family was sacred. Judith also constantly questions statements in the Church. She explains that
