Week 1 Reconsiderations: global multicentric history Western story : Christianity started in Jerusalem, moved west to the Roman Empire, then the roman language of Latin spread from western Europe to the Americas. Jamestown colony (Anglican royal settlement) was established in 1607, then Plymouth colony was established in 1620 (pilgrims, puritans and Anglican dissenters) in the USA.
