4 parts: Part a: o 3 questions (12 pts) Show video of someone doing skill: identify what person is doing from skill progression Me looking at what theyre doing & identifying components still needed to be worked on: balance, coordination, lateral step, consiouc vs. subconscious Me working with this person: what I would suggest they do/ developmentally appropriate decisions Example: Ball thrown @ little girl/doesn’t catch (2 yrs) No visual perception: not enough experience/practice Neurological Feedback loop Older girl/ catches (3-4 yrs) Arms extended More practice time Brings ball to her body Balance, neurological, corrdination, no side to side movement Older boy (5-6 yrs) Perception/lack of experience Not in his midline Hands getting to ball when the ball is passing him Little boy (3 yrs) Scared of ball/ need to give him a balloon or that the ball doesn’t hurt you/ break the fear! Arms extended
