Unformatted text preview: Harris 1 Renee Harris English 102 Professor Riser July 4, 2010 Trouble in the Gulf When people mention the oil spill, what do you think of? I think of a disater that is taking too long to fix. To me, the oil spill is disaterous because many businesses have lost business, it is loosing tourists, and it is hurting and killing animals. One way it is disaterous is the businesses loosing business because no one wants to shop at their stores. Due to this disaterous oil spill, America has lost one million jobs. The twenty billion dollars that President Obama forced BP to set aside is a fund created to help the people that lost their business due to the oil spill. The CEO’s of all the oil companies said they are not responsbile for any oil spills that might occur. Because of that policy, many people have lost their businesses and they are not trying to find a solution for this incident. The oil companies should set aside another fund to help give money to the people that lost businesses in the oil...
