Post a 100- to 200-word response based on the readings this week and additional Internet research. Cite your sources. It is important to test Web pages in multiple browsers to ensure a consistent look of the Web page in the majority of user’s browsers. A Web page opened in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) may have a different look than when opened in Google Chrome. This is because not all browsers are created with the exact same programming code; some browsers have different ways of displaying information. Your newly created site must display as close as possible to your original design and be accessible to all viewers no matter what browser they use, since some browsers no longer recognize the older style HTML tags such as <bold> and older browsers will not recognize the newer XHTML tags such as <strong>.
