Assume that R 1 = 150 , R 2 = 320 , R 3 = 75 , R 4 = 80 , and V in = 5V. If another resister is placed in parallel with R 1 , determine its value such that the bridge will be balanced. Problem 2) This is problem 12.20 of the textbook. For your convenience, the problem statement is repeated here: a.) Show how strain gages may be mounted on a simple cantilever beam, and placed in a Wheatstone Bridge circuit, to sense temperature change while being insensitive to variations in beam loading. b.)
