Mikey Matthews Period 9 Macbeth Act III Homework The Act begins with Banquo suspecting that Macbeth killed Duncan. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth invite Banquo to a feast but unfortunately, Banquo has to leave. He says that he will be gone for a long time and will return for the feast. Fleance goes with Banquo. When Banquo leaves, Macbeth talks with a servant about his distrust for Banquo. The servant leaves and brings in two murderers. Macbeth starts up a previous conversation with the murderers and tells them to go kill Banquo and Fleance. Next Scene, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth both discuss their unhappiness and Macbeth tells Lady Macbeth of a dark deed that will happen later on. Next Scene begins with three murderers instead of two. Macbeth has sent an extra murderer for no reason. It is night time and the murderers hear horses approaching. Banquo says he needs a light and the murderers see it and jump out and kill him. Fleance manages to escape on Banquo’s orders. Next scene begins with a feast. Macbeth is making a toast and the first murderer walks in covered in blood. Macbeth talks with him and finds out about Banquo and Fleance. The murderer exits
