The manufacturing deviations are due to the deviations of the surfaces swept by the cutting-tools relative to the machine. Determining the positioning deviation is detailed in this paper. How to analyze the consequences of defects on functional tolerances has been presented in [Vignat et al., 2005]. Some papers already presented the way to simulate assembly operations for functional tolerance analysis.
