We present in this paper the influence of components’ geometrical variations on functional conditions. It corresponds to an extension of work realised with rigid body hypothesis [Thiebaut 2001], [Bourdet and Ballot, 1995], and allows simulation of mechanisms made by some flexible components. Works dealing with components’ deformation on assembly are focused on welded, bolded or riveted assembly and propose variations propagation model [Camelio et al, 2001] or solution to study multi level assembly systems [Hu, 1997].
