This UR parameterized clearance domain can then be used in a Computer Aided Tolerancing software (mock up in [Fukuda et al.2003]) in order to take into account the use of the system. As the domain concept is not a geometric object and the zone concept is easy to manage for a designer we propose to show on 3D the equivalent zone to each domain. This approximate domain can be shown in the drawing like a plain bearing with a jr radial clearance equal to TyMAX and a la length equal to TyMAX/RzMAX . Then, in a tolerancing analysis, the designer can substitute a ball bearing to a parameterised plain bearing where Jr and la are calculated by a given UR and a corresponding domain.
