General Psychology Unit 1 Homework Heredity defines ones nature, it is the transmission of traits from parent to offspring by means of genes, and it is also based on the biological structures and process. Heredity often differs from generation to generation. In my family there are so many different traits passed along to the next generation. My mother was the oldest of five children. Her physical traits were nothing like her younger siblings. Having brown hair, hazel eyes and a lighter skin tone she favored her mother. When it comes to me, I think that I take after my mother especially in the looks department except for my hair, which is blonde, but she also had blonde when she was younger. The only thing that I seem to have inherited from my father is my mental health
