Biochemical Genetics Lab Report Rubric S/S ’10 PLEASE NOTE -- THE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE LAB MANUAL (pgs 117-119) MUST BE  FOLLOWED IN ADDITION IN ORDER TO RECEIVE COMPLETE POINTS!! Points will be given for:  Introduction  1.5 pgs –  __/7 points total: - Subject of overall report clearly stated in FIRST sentence __/1 point  - Introduction should include how the experiment works and include a definition and discussion of  storage starches, G1P, SBE1, amylose, amylopectin, the iodine test, supernatant and enzymes. __/6  points  Materials and Methods  1/4 pg - ___/2 points total  - Name the experiment and the different parts  - Cite the lab manual and specific exercise (follow M&M citation instructions on pg 118) - Include deviations from the lab manual here  Results  1/2 pg -___/4 points total:  - Give data in complete sentences __/1 point
